Multi grapples Epiroc MG Series
Epiroc sorting grapples for excavators are ideal for demolition, recycling, or sorting tasks. The sorting grapple is used for sorting and clearing various materials, light demolition, transferring wood, or moving construction materials.
The hydraulic sorting grapple is designed for fast and efficient operation. The slewing ring allows 360-degree rotation of the grapple; if you have a tiltrotator, a slewing ring is not required on the grapple. The Epiroc sorting grapple comes equipped with one hydraulic rotation motor up to the MG 1000 model and two hydraulic rotation motors from the MG 1000 model onwards, ensuring reliability when gripping materials. The Epiroc MG sorting grapple is available for excavators weighing between 0.7 and 100 tons.

Removable rotation for use with a tiltrotator
The slewing ring can be removed when the machine already has a tiltrotator. That saves weight at the head and prevents two rotation systems from working against each other.
Two rotation motors from the MG 1000
From the MG 1000 upwards, two hydraulic motors drive the rotation. When gripping heavy, irregular material the position is held instead of being twisted away under load.
Integrated mechanical stop
A mechanical stop absorbs the end of the closing movement instead of the cylinders. That takes peak loading out of the hydraulics and extends the life of the grab's most expensive component.
