    Hydraulic Concrete Shear VTN PD-1

    The PD-1 hydraulic concrete shear from VTN for excavators is specially designed for primary demolition tasks and is the best solution for high-reach demolition. The concrete shear is designed with two cylinders and two pivot points, resulting in high cutting force. Its compact design makes the VTN PD-1 the right attachment for demolishing reinforced concrete, bridges, viaducts, foundations, and quays. With iron blades at the back of the jaw and high breaking force, the VTN PD-1 is the ideal hydraulic concrete shear for breaking and cutting reinforced concrete.

    The hydraulic concrete shear is equipped with a 360-degree rotation for optimal positioning and precise operation. It is available for excavators with a weight range between 10 and 130 tons.

    Features

    • Two cylinders and two pivot points

      The double pivot construction converts cylinder force into high crushing force at the jaw tip. The PD-1 therefore works through heavy foundations, quay walls and viaducts where a single-pivot jaw stalls.

    • Compact design for high-reach demolition

      The compact, relatively light attachment keeps the centre of gravity close to the boom. The jaw stays workable on a long arm, exactly where primary demolition of bridges and buildings requires it.

    • Steel blades at the rear of the jaw

      The rear blades cut the rebar released during crushing. Concrete and reinforcement are processed in the same bite, reducing the number of movements per cubic metre.
