Rail Cutter VTN RP
The VTN RP rail cutter is specifically designed for cutting tram, metro, and railway lines. Thanks to its powerful jaws and sturdy construction, this rail shear can effortlessly cut through even the hardest rail types. The RP series delivers optimal performance, making it possible to cut rails with a mass of 75 kg per meter with ease.
The rail cutter comes standard with 360-degree hydraulic rotation, allowing the attachment to be maneuvered into any desired position. The VTN RP is suitable for excavators weighing between 18 and 50 tons, depending on the model.

Jaw rated for rail up to 75 kg/m
The jaw and cylinders are dimensioned for rail sections of 75 kilograms per metre. Even heavy track rail is cut through in a single movement, with no preparation by torch.
360 degree hydraulic rotation
Rotation brings the cutter to any angle relative to the track. On a section where the excavator cannot reach alongside the rail, that is the difference between continuing and repositioning the machine.
Replaceable cutting blades
The cutting blades can be replaced without any work on the jaw. On rail projects with short possession windows, maintenance therefore stays inside the time available.
