    Hydraulic breakers for excavators

From breaking light concrete to demolishing heavily reinforced foundations: a hydraulic breaker is indispensable in demolition, road construction and earthmoving. A demolition breaker runs on the hammer line of the excavator and strikes using hydraulic pressure combined with a nitrogen chamber, delivering more powerful blows than a purely hydraulic system.

SAES International is the official dealer of Epiroc and ESTM breakers and supplies hammers for excavators from 0.7 to 140 tonnes.

    Which breaker suits your excavator?

Carrier weight determines the choice. A breaker that is too light limits production; one that is too heavy damages the excavator. As a rule of thumb: mini and midi excavators (0.7 to 9 tonnes) run compact breakers such as the Epiroc SB series with its Solid Body concept, eliminating unnecessary components for a slim, lightweight and easily serviceable design. The mid range (9 to 30 tonnes) is covered by the Epiroc MB series, and the heavy class (30 to 140 tonnes) by the Epiroc HB series with the patented Intelligent Protection System, which switches automatically between AutoStart and AutoStop and prevents blank firing. In doubt between two classes? Our specialists calculate the right combination of carrier, breaker and chisel, and set up the excavator to match the breaker.

Epiroc breakers: from mini excavator to mining

Epiroc demolition breakers are the ideal attachment for demolishing light to heavy concrete structures, asphalt pavements, rock and reinforced concrete. Key features include PowerAdapt overload protection, ContiLube II automatic on-board lubrication and the Dust Protector II dual sealing system that extends component life. See the full range on the Epiroc breakers page.

ESTM breakers: proven technology, sharp investment

Alongside Epiroc, SAES carries the ESTM and ESTM breaker lines: a solid alternative where price-performance comes first. See the ESTM breakers page for the current range per machine class.

Rent a breaker or buy used

Need a breaker for a single project? SAES rents demolition tools from its own fleet, including stand-by breakers for time-critical projects such as viaduct demolition, so work resumes immediately in case of downtime. A changing stock of used breakers, inspected in our own workshop, is also available.

    Service, chisels and parts

Maximum production starts with the right chisel and consistent maintenance. SAES stocks chisels for the SB, MB and HB series, chisel paste and chisel bushings, and services all common brands. Working underwater? The SAES underwater kit keeps water out of seals and internal components.
