Founder Henk Saes hands over Saes International to Erland Morelissen after 34 years

Erland Morelissen has acquired Saes International B.V. from founder Henk Saes. The specialist in hydraulic attachments thus changes hands after 34 years.

Location, brand portfolio and service level remain unchanged. Saes International represents brands including Epiroc, Erkat, VTN, LaBounty, ESTM and Xcentric, and serves customers across the Benelux and beyond from its premises in Weert.

“In Erland, I have found a successor who approaches the company with the same conviction that guided me in building it,” says Henk Saes. “I am leaving Saes International in his hands with full confidence.”

Morelissen holds a background in business economics and has many years of experience in technical, capital-intensive sectors. “In this industry, the relationship with the supplier often makes the difference between downtime and production,” says Morelissen. “I am building on what Henk and the organisation have established over 34 years — together with customers, suppliers and employees.”
