Compactor plate HST

The HST compactor plate drives and extracts foundation elements such as sheet piles, tubular profiles and bearing piles, and compacts soil directly from the excavator. Available for machines from 2 to 46 tonnes, in nine models and with couplers from CW00 to CW45.

Vibration is generated by two counter-rotating eccentrics. This keeps the force vertically aligned and limits horizontal load on the boom and dipper arm, which makes the boom more stable and the work more accurate.

Optional

  • Sheet pile clamp for driving sheet piles.
  • Pile cap for driving piles.

HST features

  • Twin eccentrics

Two counter-rotating eccentrics generate vertically aligned vibration. Horizontal load on boom and dipper arm stays limited, which improves stability during work.

  • Rubber dampers in the suspension head

Integrated rubber elements isolate vibration between the HST and the excavator, preventing wear and overload and lowering maintenance costs.

  • Pressure flow regulator with anti-cavitation valve

The built-in regulator monitors hydraulic pressure and protects the system under changing loads on site.

Sheet pile driver

Fitted with the clamp, the HST drives steel sheet piles and tubular profiles and pulls them again at the end of the job. The vertically aligned force from the twin eccentrics keeps the profile on line, including in variable ground conditions.

Because horizontal load on the boom stays limited, the operator can work close to existing structures. That is the difference from a single-eccentric unit, where the machine follows more of the movement.

Applications

  • Excavation pits and temporary retaining structures
  • Bank protection along waterways
  • Sheet piling for quay and revetment works
  • Extracting temporary sheet pile walls

Vibratory hammer for bearing piles

With the pile cap, the HST installs timber piles, concrete bearing piles and tubular steel profiles. The cap closes around the pile head and transfers vibration without damaging it.

Vibratory driving is quieter and produces less ground disturbance than impact driving. In built-up areas, alongside existing foundations or in vibration-sensitive surroundings, that is often the deciding factor.

Soil compaction

For compaction work, the HST is placed directly on the ground. Vibration frequency combined with the weight of the excavator compacts down into deeper layers, including where a plate compactor or roller cannot reach.

Applications

  • Sub-base under roads and paved surfaces
  • Backfilling and compacting service trenches
  • Stabilising dyke slopes and bank structures
  • Compacting fill sand around foundations and basements

Vibro hammer for mini excavators

The HST006 HP, HST007 HP and HST010 HP are built for the lighter class and fit mini excavators from 2 tonnes.

CW00 to CW45 couplers

Working with a system other than CW? SAES handles the adapted coupler and hydraulic build in its own workshop, including internally routed hoses.
